Our team in Quimper!

Quimper is also built in a place protected by the Ocean

and has a magnificent Cathedral.

There are a lot of traditional houses near its river

and the last days of July the special festival of Cornouaille!

In the roads of old town there are musicians and many people.

We danced traditional dances!

We walked around the old town!

We ate lovely potatoes!

We also saw nice “dentelles” ( lace) !

And what can we say about their pottery!!!

Our team in Concarneau!

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

Concarneau is in the Bay of Cornwall.

In the middle of its harbour, there is an island, where is the old walled town of Concarneau. There are two ways to go to the island:

- From the bridge on right

-On a boat on left of it

Our team walked around the walls of the old Concarneau.

In this way, we could see the old town and the modern one on the other side!

The modern town is built around the island. It makes a circle around it.

In this photo (It is taken from an helicopter) everybody understand the strategic place of

Concarneau!

Out of this port is the Atlantic Ocean!

There are many marinas around the island as the port can protect them from the Ocean.
